…Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me…
I am PROUD
As you probably already know from my earlier posts, my work URBAN DOLLS is currently exhibited at Ultrabody exhibition in Milan. Look for OVERCOMING THE BODY section, as this is where you can find me. _More

Friday 13th // What’s the time?
This is what I found (by unknown artist) browsing on the internet today. Does anyone know what’s the time now?
Lost in colour
Today I am trying to organise the threads I have got and did’t realise that there are so many of them! To simplify the things, I am arranging them by colour. And how should I choose the colour scheme for my new piece?

Pick Me Up // Graphic Art Fair // 2012 // Friday
Last week I went to Pick Me Up Graphic Art Fair 2012, which is currently on in Somerset House. It was a very nice day out with a good reason to meet up with my two college friends: Alma and Lizzy. We have chosen Friday, as Lizzy and I wanted to attend Anthony Burrill‘s workshop, which was on that particular day.
Have a tasty day!

KOVO 8 // SU KOVO 8 // Posters
Kovo 8 (in Lithuanian – 8th of March) and Su Kovo 8 (in Lithuanian – With 8th of March). I really liked the way KOVO reads and that such a short word has two Os, that perfectly creates ‘hidden’ eight.
8th March // International Women’s Day
I’m so happy that I still got the memories of 8th March and how it was celebrated in LTSR times. When men carrying red tulip bouquets were filling the streets, and like blood river beds were floating grey concrete pavements, which later stopped by the blocks of flats and disparred in them. Tulips and only red tulips…
DU ABU has been launched !!!

I don’t know how I will manage to look after two web pages, but if you won’t try you won’t know. Here is a sneak preview on the things you will find there.

URBAN DOLLS // DESIGN FACTION // Zamek Cieszyn (Poland)
I wanted to share with you a picture I have received from Kasia Jezowska. Kasia’s curated Design Faction exhibition (my Urban Dolls project is part of this touring exhibition) had a huge success in Lodz Design Festival 2011, and Kasia was asked to show her exhibition once again, but this time in another town of Poland - Cieszyn. The exhibition was on 3-12 February 2012 in Zamek Cieszyn. Thank you Kasia, due to this event I had a record high my website views.
